We work with school and MAT AP teams to:

  • Enable delivery of a broad range of subjects through live online lessons
  • Support with subject-specialist teaching where your staff lack capacity or knowledge
  • Deliver English and Maths requirement for pre-16 learners and resits support at post-16
  • Provide tutors who can build relationships, act as mentors and provide a fresh perspective to traditional learning
  • Provide a bespoke curriculum for each pupil’s individual needs
  • Deliver urgent support to prevent pupils from falling behind, meeting Section 19 requirements

Online provision and B-codes: explained

We know that some schools worry that pupils in online interventions can’t be counted as ‘present’ following changes to attendance codes.

Online tutoring can be transformative for young people. The DfE has made clear the focus of support should be on the pupil’s best interest, not what is recorded in the attendance register.

Pupils attending online tutoring can be B-coded if learning takes place in an approved location and is supervised by approved staff. The location can be on the school site or in another place of learning.
