How MyTutor works with Universities
We work with Universities across the country to support their widening participation and access goals. This means helping pupils get into Higher Education who otherwise wouldn’t, providing social mobility and supporting closing attainment gaps.
Our programmes can support everyone from a handful of pupils to hundreds in 30+ subjects across Key Stages 3-5. We have 6000+ vetted, trained and experienced tutors available to provide impactful 1:1 or small group tuition.

Near-peer tutors from top UK universities
All our tutors are students at top UK universities and are close in age to pupils so they know what they're going through. They provide quality teaching as well as mentorship and help to raise aspirations.
All tutors undergo our rigorous selection process (only 1 in 8 make the cut), are fully trained and DBS checked.

“It’s definitely something that other universities might want to consider as an attainment-raising activity. As a team, our work tends to be focused more on general outreach and aspiration-raising activity, while MyTutor provides additional subject-specific support.”
